Our Services
Three ways to support an older relative at home.
Each service is designed for a different kind of need. Most families begin with one and add others as the situation becomes clearer.
Back to HomeOur Approach
How every Penaung arrangement begins
Initial conversation
We talk through the family's situation, which service fits, and what the arrangement would look like day to day.
Arrangement set up
Schedule, companion match, and activity outline are prepared. Family preferences are documented and shared with the companion.
Service begins
Visits or errands start. End-of-session updates go to the family contact after each appointment.
Review and adjust
A check-in after the first few sessions confirms everything is working. We adjust freely as needs change.

Technology Connection Help
Setting up and explaining simple video calls, messaging, and photo sharing so an older relative stays in touch with family near and far. For households that want to make staying connected easy and free of frustration. Scope includes an initial setup session plus a few gentle practice sessions, device configuration, a large-print quick guide, and a short refresher visit.
What is included
- Initial device setup and configuration
- Step-by-step practice sessions at a relaxed pace
- Large-print quick-reference guide left at home
- Short refresher visit once everything has settled in
- Brief summary to the family after each session
How it works, step by step
We talk with the family to understand which devices are in the home and what kind of contact they would most like to have with their relative (video calls, messages, photos).
An initial visit configures the devices and walks through the steps at a pace comfortable for your relative.
Practice sessions follow, where your relative tries each step themselves with gentle guidance. The large-print guide is left behind for reference.
A short refresher visit confirms that things are still working and addresses any new questions.

Daytime Companionship Programme
Structured daytime companionship at home with conversation, light activities, shared meals, and gentle company through the afternoon. For families who want an older relative to have warm company during working hours. Sessions are arranged on chosen days each week and include a companion schedule, an activity outline, and an end-of-day note to the family.
What is included
- Sessions on chosen days each week
- Companion schedule shared with family in advance
- Activity outline built around your relative's interests
- End-of-day note sent to the family contact
- Check-in call after the first few sessions
How it works, step by step
The family shares which days work, what their relative enjoys, and any considerations we should be aware of.
A companion is matched and an activity outline is prepared. The companion's schedule is confirmed with the family.
Sessions begin. The companion arrives at the agreed time and spends the afternoon with your relative in comfortable, unhurried company.
A brief note is sent to the family at the end of each session. After a few visits, we check in to see how things are settling.

Errand & Appointment Logistics
Coordinating grocery runs, parcel collection, and transport arrangements for outings and scheduled appointments. For relatives who live far away or have demanding work hours and want errands handled smoothly. Available per outing or as a recurring weekly plan, with route and timing coordination, a shared family calendar, and confirmation messages after each errand.
What is included
- Route planning and timing coordination
- Shared calendar accessible to family members
- Confirmation message after each errand or outing
- Grocery runs, parcel collection, appointment transport
- Available per outing or as a weekly recurring plan
How it works, step by step
We discuss the kinds of errands involved, frequency, and any preferences around timing or transport.
A plan is set up — either a one-off arrangement or a recurring weekly schedule. The shared calendar is sent to the family.
Each errand or outing is handled according to the plan. Routes and timing are confirmed the day before.
A confirmation message is sent to the family contact once the errand is complete — what was collected, where the appointment was, and how it went.

Shared Standards
What every service follows
Privacy by default
Family and household information is handled with care and not shared outside the arrangement.
Vetted companions
Every companion is personally interviewed and reference-checked before any home visits begin.
Family updates after every session
A brief note confirming what happened goes to the family contact after each visit or errand.
Clear scope
Services cover companionship, connection, and logistics. We do not undertake activities outside that scope and are transparent about this from the start.
Regular arrangement reviews
We check in with families at intervals to confirm the arrangement is still working and to make any adjustments.
One point of contact
Families communicate with the same named liaison throughout — no rerouting to different people each time.
Not sure where to start? Let's figure it out together.
A short call is often enough to identify which service fits and how to put something in place without delay.
